Terms, Conditions & Rules of Style ME Interiors Dubai's Approved Vendor Program

The term "You" refers to yourself, your business, and anyone acting on behalf of your business. By joining this program, you agree to comply with all the rules outlined here at all times.

You must only use actual images of your products or services for promotional purposes. The use of stock images is strictly prohibited. If you use 3D renders, the image must explicitly state "3D Render" on it.

You may only promote services and products that are legally allowed under your trade license. For example, if your trade license is for furniture making, you cannot promote services related to fit-out or other unauthorized activities.

You are only permitted to advertise in the category you are approved for. For instance, if you are listed under fit-out/construction, you cannot post about interior design. Advertising in additional categories is possible but will require extra fees.

You must not send unsolicited private messages (PMs/DMs) to group members. You are allowed to contact members privately only if they explicitly request it.

When commenting on posts, you must provide a relevant answer to the question asked and clearly identify your affiliation by including your company name and contact details. You may also include a link to your business if desired.

Engaging with old posts is not allowed. You may only comment on recent posts and are prohibited from searching for older posts to add promotional details.

You must use the hashtag #SMIDapprovedvendor in all posts promoting your business.

Promotional posts are allowed only on designated days—Monday or Thursday—depending on your category. Refer to past #thisisme posts for examples of the expected format. Your posts must be personal, provide a clear description, and include high-quality images of your work.

Sharing posts directly from your Facebook page is not permitted as a form of advertisement.

All promotional posts must include both #thisisme and #SMIDapprovedvendor hashtags.

Customer Service and Transparency: All quotes provided to clients must be transparent and include a breakdown of all associated costs and details. If any items are outside the scope of the quotation, this must be clearly communicated to the client to avoid misunderstandings.

Professional Conduct: You are expected to maintain professionalism in all communications with group members. Ensure that only your best teams and high-quality products are used when delivering services or products to group members.

Handling Complaints: We do not allow public naming and shaming of approved vendors. However, genuine complaints will be investigated. If a complaint is validated, you will be informed and asked to address the issue. Repeated complaints may result in removal from the group. A three-strike policy is in place: three violations will result in removal, blocking, and blacklisting from all group recommendations.

Membership Fees: Membership requires an annual fee, based on your vendor category. This fee is paid in 12 monthly installments through credit or debit card. Once initiated, payments cannot be paused or canceled.

The first payment will be processed via a Stripe-hosted payment link. Subsequent payments will be automatically charged to your card each month. You are responsible for notifying us if your card is expiring or canceled and must update your payment details promptly.

It is your responsibility to ensure sufficient funds are available for each monthly installment. Failure to maintain updated card details or sufficient funds may result in additional administrative fees, which you agree to pay.

Terminating Membership: After the first year, if you wish to cancel your membership, you must provide a three-month notice period. This notice allows us to assess your activity and optimize your platform usage. Once your membership is canceled, all past posts and comments will be removed in accordance with our approved vendor list. No refunds or partial refunds will be provided for unused advertising opportunities.

Advertising Restrictions: You may only advertise competitions or marketing events if they are in partnership with SMID. Additional fees may apply to collaborative events.

Advertising products or services that are illegal in the UAE is strictly forbidden.

You must not post or speak negatively about SMID/SMD or engage in actions that could harm the brand or its future earnings.
